The Great (Sneaky Drinking) Christmas Present Story
Christmas morning. Perfect white snow covers the ground.
The kids are excited...they wake you up at 6:30am to start opening gifts.
By 10am you finally get to open one of your own after assembling all the kids toys, searching for the right batteries, and taking 1000 pictures.
One boring gift after another.
Oh, another tie, great.
Another pair of socks, just what I wanted.
You start to really lose interest and your mind starts to wander.
You think, "is there any football on today? I can't wait till the bowl games start."
Just about then you get to your last gift from your wife.
Since your expectations are low you are really not paying attention. However, you quickly realize that this is not your average boring gift.
Your heart starts to race, your palms are sweating.
What is it?
NO WAY! 4 Tickets to the 2013 College Football Kickoff Classic and a brand new Sippin' Seat! You knew there was a reason you married her all those years ago...she is brilliant!
Your wife just sits back and smiles. She is a true American hero and all around cool chick.
She is thinking about all the things you are going to have to do to make it up to her.
After figuring out which of your buddies you are going to take to the game you then start to explore the second part of your gift, the Sippin' Seat.
You have never seen one before.
You look in amazement and start to see the potential of what this brilliant sneaky drinking flask means to you and all sporting events you will go to for the rest of your life!
Total freedom to drink whatever you want.
No more long lines.
No more OVERPRICED drinks.
You drink your whiskey, the way you want to drink it.
The possibilities are endless.
You then realize the true drinking potential of the game if all your buddies had a Sippin' Seat and maybe a BeerBelly or two. You even think Bob might not look too bad in a WineRack...but that just feels awkward.
At this point you are really pumped up and all you can think about is your team's national championship hopes next season and the glory of rubbing it in to everyone at work.
Your day will come. Until then, drink and be merry!
